Abstract:Taking some block of central part of Persian Gulf basin as an example, using seismic attributes analytic technique and in combination with geologic, logging and seismic data, the paper, on the basis of fine horizons calibration and structural interpretation, carried out description of planar distributing feature of reservoir by using forward simulation and optimizing three attributes: instantaneous amplitude, frequency and phase that can reflect the physical nature of reservoir and is sensitive to gas-bearing property and according to the distributing feature of these three seismic attributes. On that basis, the reservoir in the region was classified into four classes in combination with logging data, among which the M well zone was first-class reservoir by integrative appreciation, the northwest of M well zone was second-class reservoir by integrative appreciation, H well zone was third-class reservoir by integrative appreciation and southern part of F well zone was fourth-class reservoir by integrative appreciation. It can be seen that seismic attributes analytic technique can provide reliable basis for exploration and development of subtle reservoir in the region.
